I greet you with a big and bright South African smile, as we approach the challenges and opportunities that lies ahead in an ever changing world.
Global economic pressures, war, fear for when the next Covid wave/ Pandemic may hit, the energy crisis and rising costs limiting food supplies. At the time of this letter, Technical Systems is also experiencing the hardship of adapting to these challenges.
Technical Systems experienced unprecedented business growth these past few years, with our most successful period being during the troubled times of Covid. We are now forced to focus on the true principles of Lean manufacturing – cost cutting, inventory reduction and improving process flows.
During the “less rainy seasons” as farmers call it (time to sow and water the lands), we invest in staff and further developments to expand our product range. Diversification (addition of link chain for feed conveying) and capital investment to improve our operations will allow us to serve our market with an even higher level than before. Our current mindset allows us to celebrate small victories that drive us to higher objectives and deliverables – a time to work and a time to celebrate! This, I hope and trust in faith, will create unity and a passion to overcome the current challenges.
As a Technical Systems’ Team with unbelievable committed staff, willing to never accept challenges as problems, but as opportunities to grow personally and never to allow the business to falter, I sincerely thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I thank each and every stakeholder, contributing to our continuous sustainability, as Technical Systems endeavours to commit to our obligations to serve one another and the market with intent!
